AUDIOPHILE AUDITION - web magazine for music, audio & home theater

Welcome to the 66th issue of the web magazine for audio, music and home theater - transitioned from the former national radio program AUDIOPHILE AUDITION, which was heard for over 13 years on public radio and commercial classical stations coast to coast. We are dedicated to your auditional wellbeing.

This month we have a new record of 151 total disc reviews, including 57 Hi-Res disc reviews - DVD-A, SACD, and HDAD - multichannel, stereo and even mono - more than any other publication, print or web! Featured this month are 13 Soundtrack and Musicals CD reviews. Components reviewed this month: Rotel's RDC-1050 DVD-A & V Player; Key Digital Systems' ClearColor3 and ClearVideo3 Converters. One of the two Features of the month is a non-nonsense look at the iffy state of the Recorded Music Business.

Be sure to register via the DVD ETC. link on the right side of our home page. It registers you for both sites simultaneously, and you will then be elegible for the Mobile Fidelity SACD giveaway we are conducting this month!

AUDIOPHILE AUDITION has joined together with SOUNDREPRODUCTION.COM to provide a high-end interactive Net resource for audio information. The site offers discussion on many different audio topics, and we invite our readers to participate in the free forums.

STAFF WRITERS This Issue: Donna Dorsett, Ron Legum, Tom Gibbs, Laurence Vittes, Gary Lemco, Brian Bloom, John Henry, Peter Bates, Bob Moon, Calvin Harding Jr., John Sunier.
